AI Knows You
2 min
A research team demonstrated that by analyzing just 68 Facebook likes, an AI model could predict a person's ethnicity with 95% accuracy, political affiliation with 85% accuracy, and even whether their parents had separated before they turned 21. None of these facts were explicitly shared. The AI inferred them from patterns, liking certain music, brands, or pages. Now consider that modern AI systems have access to far more data: your browsing history, location patterns, purchase records, typing speed, and the photos you pause on while scrolling. Each data point seems harmless on its own, but together they paint an intimate portrait. What happens when AI knows things about you that you have not even admitted to yourself?
What AI can infer about you from seemingly innocent data.
